Nicole Midori Woodford's debut feature film LAST SHADOW AT FIRST LIGHT is selected for the New Director's Competition section at the 2023 San Sebastian International Film Festival! Big congratulations to director Nicole, delegate producer Jeremy Chua as well as all other cast and crew involved.
Prism Pictures is involved as an associate production company for the Japan section of the shoot in Spring 2022. We shot the film in Tokyo, Chiba, Rikuzentakata, Kesennuma and Minami Soma. This Spring we managed the ADR recording between Tokyo's L'espace Vision and the Cambodian sound studio.
We like to give our heartfelt thanks to the fisherman family in Rikuzentakata who so kindly lent us their property for our main location.
Associate Producer and Production Manager Furuichi Akiho will be joining the team to attend the world premiere at San Sebastian. Hope to see all of you on September 24th!
